Welcome to your First Judging Session. For your first photoshoot, you need to submit a High Fashion, Black & White photo.
Let's see how you did for your First Week
Tyra: Hello Allison!!! This is freakin' awesome. I really love the concept. And your eyes!!! OMG.. Cute but in a haunting way. This is so memorable and high fashion. Great job!!!
Paulina: I don't know, Tyra. I'm not seeing it. You look a bit started and deer-in-headlights. Your face stands out, but there isn't much contrast between you and your fur. Considering what I saw from you on the show when I was judging you, I am a left a little underwhelmed.
Janice: I agree with the scared look, but that's sort of her trade mark. Don't make it a big habit though please. For this, it looks ok. I like the fur and I love your lips here. While your eyes are like OMG HELP ME, your lips are soft and take away some of the hardness your eyes are giving, so it works well.
Candice: I like this one a lot. Its stunning with a bit of a freakish look. Gives a combination of the two which we are looking to see in such a photo. The coat definitely adds to the haunting experience in my eyes! Keep up the good work.
Tyra: Wow!!! OMG!!! The pose is so crazy and memorable. You worked your body so well. And the setting is really good. I think you did such an amazing job this week, Analeigh
Paulina: I am sorry to nitpick, Analeigh, but this is a sepia tone rather than black and white. Despite that discrepancy, it is still a strong photograph.
Janice: I love your lines. Your legs are to die for. I love your pose and composure. I really like this a lot.
Tyra: The shadow really made the photo so artistic and your face is so freakin' weird and unique. Wow.. I'm so impressed with your girl. Great job, Anchal!!!
Paulina: I do like how alienesque you look here, and that is always a good thing when we're talking about models. However, I feel your neck is bringing your energy down, and the bedroom eyes aren't exactly working. I'm also not a huge fan of the effect that's being used.
Janice: I am not a fan of you, but I will judge you fairly. No worries. I love the artistic feeling with the shadows. Although the shadow on your shoulder is distracting, it's not too horrible feeling. I love your cheeks and eyes in this. I love your lips as well. Watch the angle though because it looks like you have a gap in your teeth at this angle with your lips parted. Other than that, I'd say this is top notch, maybe the best so far.
Candice: I personally am not a fan of the double image look. The pic itself looks great but I feel there's too much of a distracting second image that lowers the quality of what I'm looking for. Aside from that I applaud your artistic efforts and I believe you can improve going forward.
Tyra: Chantal, I think this is too safe. The only thing that make me interested about this photo is your hair. You have so much potential than this
Paulina: Hold on, I need to get my microscope, because this is tiny. From what I can see, you have good hair, and an intense face but everything else is lackluster.
Janice: Damn Paulina, you stole my line. Hand me that microscope when you're done. I love your face, hair and pose, but the picture is just way too small. If I have to strain to see it, I dont' like it!
Candice: Yeah sorry I'm with the other judges on this one, a little bit to small, I advise something bigger and you definitely need to add more charm and charisma to the setting.
Tyra: Yeah, very fierce. I love the whole crazy styling. But you need to be careful with the angle on your face. I think you hiding your neck here. But overall, I'm really impressed with you this week
Paulina: I must say, I'm very surprised. I had to double take to make sure it was you. In colour, I don't think this photo would work as well as it does in black and white, and that's part of what we're looking for here. Waist up, this photo is great, but those legs make you look short and contorted. And not very comfortable.
Janice: I love your pose in this. Your neck has disappeared but your expression is strong. Those boots make your legs look killer long but also sickly thin, watch that.
Candice: Great photo. You came out strong and definitely showed your fierce side in this photo. My main concern is in the black and white setting there's a busy background that takes away from you as a whole but you definitely stroke a pose here.
Tyra: Oh Lord.. Your lips is so freakin' sexy. I love your looks in this photo. Sweet and sexy. And I love your pant too. Fierce and shocking!
Paulina: Natasha, my fellow Eastern European, I know you're a great model, but right here, I'm not convinced this is the best you have to offer. For me, it looks really messy and unpolished, and it is lacking that high fashion element I was hoping to see. I also feel your face doesn't radiate energy.
Janice: You look scared. I don't like this sorry. I love your lips but that's about it.
Candice: Hot damn! I'm certainly impressed with this. You came out strong. Great composure. I do believe you could have come out with a stronger expression for this round but you really showed off your body here. I'd like to see a strong facial expression from you.
Tyra: Hmm.. I think you forgot about the Black & White part. Too bad because this is a great photo. It's definitely going to affect your ranking this week, Raina
Paulina: Your problem is that you don't listen. Not only do you not listen to the guidelines of this photoshoot, you don't listen to me when I told you NOT to hotlink from all-ANTM. You have no one to blame but yourself.
Janice: Well, first of all, you hotlinked, from fanpop. Second of all, the photo is not black & white. Third of all, I don't like people who mouth off at judges. I mean, there's discussions about tastes but then there's mouthing off in a "fuck you" tone which is what I got from your reply to Paulina. I'm done with you.
Tyra: I think Raina know that this week is supposed to be a Black & White (from her confessionals) but sometimes things happen like when you forgot to edit your photo to Black & White.
Tyra: Next round you need to save the photo first and upload it to the image uploader because sometimes hotlinking don't work for All-ANTM website. As for your photo I think we see a totally different side of you. I think you look moody and bring attitude to this photo.
Paulina: While i do like the moody attitude you bring to the photo, I think it lacks the high fashion content we were looking for in this photoshoot. And also remember you're British too. You also have your Britain's Next Top Model portfolio to use. I don't know if you could use it for this photoshoot, but it's still there.
Janice: Since you were allowed to turn photos B&W, I don't get why everyone didn't submit awesome photos. This is alright, but not great.
Tyra: Your boobs looked so weird. The proportion of it looked unbalance here. But I quite like the styling. The pose is great. I think you have potential.
Paulina: I too see potential here, but you're not bringing it completely. I can tell you're a beautiful woman, but I think your face needs to bring something extra to match the pose and outfit.
Janice: This is very sexy. I love the pose and the outfit. Your thighs look fat so watch that. But all in all, this is a good start.
Candice: Not a fan of the pose bit like the other judges I see the potential. Your body posture seems a bit awkward and I feel you sold yourself a bit short.
