Hello ladies!
I have come here today to talk to you about your portfolios today, and what you need to keep in mind when choosing photos this week. Some of you have already submitted, but if you survive this week, make sure you take on these notes. The judges know I'm very hard to please when it comes to these competitions, but I want you all to succeed in this competition, and make judging hard for us.
Allison: You are no doubt the most popular contestant ever to appear on the series. It is very hard not to like you. You have loads of potential to win this, especially with the quality and calibre of some of your newest photographs and ad campaigns. Designers and companies have caught on to your popularity with the internet community. However, we judges aren't going to be easy on you because we're fans of you. Don't play it safe. You really need to be careful about your eyes and expression remaining the same. Remember, we want versatility.
Analeigh: You showed us you could bring it by outshining every single one of those girls. You have set the bar of improvement very high for yourself, so you need to strive to keep producing quality photographs. Your off-show portfolio has some gems in there, so dig deep and find them.
Anchal: I am responsible for finding most of the images in All-ANTM's database of Anchal. I know your portfolio inside and out, and have won a competition with it on occasion. I will be your harshest critic when it comes to your photoshoots, because I know what would get you first call out. Your portfolio is on the smaller side, and it is mostly glamour/swimsuit. Use it to your advantage.
Chantal: I think we already made it clear that we weren't impressed with your photo last photoshoot. Your portfolio is large, and a lot of it is amazing. You have a blank and white high fashion beauty shot that would have earned you first call out last photoshoot. It's quite easy to find. You really need to take time and look at your portfolio.
Monique: You surprised us last week, and you are no doubt a beautiful girl, but be very careful. Many photos in your portfolio aren't at a quality that I would use myself. Your best bet is to think outside the box on some photoshoots, and convince us your photo is related.
Natasha: Your portfolio is mostly amazing, like Chantal's. But like Chantal, I wasn't impressed with you either last photoshoot. And like Anchal, I have competed with you, and know your portfolio very well too. Keep us on our toes. Your portfolio is one of the most high fashion of the bunch.
Raina: You were another fan favourite, but like Allison, just because we may like you, doesn't mean we will be easy on you. Janice said last round that she doesn't like it when contestant back-answer the judges in a rude fashion. Asking questions is okay, but being combative is not. Your judging room is where we judge you, and we're judging everything. As for your portfolio, I don't need to tell you it's great, and it looked like you knew what you were doing photo-quality wise last photoshoot. Just be sure to read the guidelines.
Sophie: You have a lot of work, both from here and in Britain. You also have your Britain's Next Top Model portfolio. I must say I'm very surprised by your calibre of photos I have seen from just a quick look at what is in store. But don't play it safe. We want you to blow us away, and being safe won't do that.
Toccara: You fulfilled your lifelong dream by being the first black, plus-sized model to grace the pages of Italian Vogue. Vogue Italia saw something, so obviously there is something there! However, you have a lot of trashy things in your portfolio. We need to you stay away from the trashiness unless the photoshoot calls for it. There is a difference between trashy and sexy, so be wary of that.
Thank you girls, please take this advice on, and good luck on your photoshoots.
